Salary: $15.00 - $15.75 per hour

This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our document management services. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to handling physical documents.
Job Description:
As a Document Preparation Specialist, your primary role involves the physical handling and preparation of documents to ready for scanning. This position is crucial for maintaining the flow of our digitization process, ensuring that all documents are ready for conversion with utmost precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Remove bindings, clear obstructions, optimize pages for the scanning process, and meticulously organize files according to specific guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Prior to the scanning, ensure that all documents are properly prepared, aligned, and free of any elements that could hinder the scanning process.
- Data Entry and Indexing Preparation: Assist in identifying key data for indexing by labeling and organizing documents as required, ensuring readiness for data capture.
- Document Clean-Up: Adjust documents by removing unnecessary pages and reordering pages when necessary to facilitate efficient scanning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to focus and perform repetitive tasks efficiently over extended periods.
- Strong capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent manual dexterity for handling sensitive documents.
- Experience in high-volume document handling or preparation is highly preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must manage changing priorities in a regulated, highly confidential environment.
- Cell phone restrictions may apply based on client and project requirements.
- All candidates must successfully pass a 7-year federal, state, and local criminal background check.
- Completion of Indeed assessments is required to proceed to the next phase of hiring.
